Hello Josh, In Nick Mordins book he had a great piece on using exactas when trying to boost his winnings from single win bets.

Steve Christ exotic betting book goes into exactas and tricasts in more detail.Although written for USA horseracing much can be gleaned from his approach.
Regards Mike

Hi Andrew,

Great stuff, that is the power of trends for races with a decent history, narrow down the field and then use your own analysis/betting approach.

I suspect we had the same list and I did back the winner, although I had more on Standing Ovation -which in hindsight with the rain the ground went against him, a bit on the soft side maybe - that makes him 0/7 on soft or heavy (if it was soft) and Jock never looked happy.

Anyway, a great results for our trends shortlist, and glad you made a few quid!

There will be plenty more don't worry!

Hi Josh
That was good!
From your analysis managed to get it down to 5 out of 18. Which was great as they included first 3 which managed to back ew and also sf , tricast. Small stakes but good effort keep them coming!
